HR Think Tank Updated Terms of Use

HR Think Tank is the network for like-minded HR professionals to share, connect and grow.  By registering an account, you agree to the following terms and conditions of use.


1)Networking and connecting

1.1 Please show respect and consideration to other users when networking and connecting. When creating an account, you acknowledge that you will be joining an online-network where other users may wish to network, direct message, share ideas or in other ways connect with you. It is always at a user’s discretion how they choose to respond to other users. If a user contacts HR Think Tank to say they no longer want to be contacted by another user, we will honor this.

1.2 Please show consideration when contacting another user; it is their choice whether they choose to respond. Instances of “pestering” or repeated unsolicited contact will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of a user’s account. This decision is always at the discretion of HR Think Tank, and HR Think Tank will have the final say in these matters.


2)Fair use and non-discrimination guidelines

2.1 HR Think Tank seeks to be an open and diverse place for all those connected to the HR Industry. By registering an account, users agree to the following terms:

2.11Any speech, comment or content posted on HR Think tank or expressed at an event affiliated in any way with HR Think Tank which expresses racism, sexism, homophobia, any other form of hate speech or discrimin

ation will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban from access to HR Think Tank. HR Think Tank will have the final say in these matters.

2.12HR Think Tank is a platform for positive sharing and learning. Any speech, comment or content posted on HR Think tank or expressed at an event affiliated in any way with HR Think Tank which forms trolling, bullying or harassment of another person (regardless of whether they are a HR Think Tank user) will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban from access to HR Think Tank. HR Think Tank will have the final say in these matters.

2.13HR Think Tank is a platform for collaborative learning and sharing; commenting on industry current affairs, giving examples of a company or individual shortcoming best practice or otherwise highlighting weaknesses or areas for improvement by an individual or company which constitutes a balanced, fair and substantiated opinion will be tolerated. Any speech, comment or content posted on HR Think tank or expressed at an event affiliated in any way with HR Think Tank with the intention of smearing or bringing into disrepute another HR Think Tank user or organization affiliated with HR Think Tank will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban from access to HR Think Tank. HR Think Tank will have the final say in these matters.

2.14HR Think Tank is a place for HR industry and business related discussion only. Users must refrain from posting any material considered vulgar, inappropriate or unnecesary. Any instances of posting distasteful or otherwise unacceptable content will result in an instant ban.

3Other behaviors considered to in any other way not constitute fair use of HR Think Tank will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.  Most light cases will result in a first-strike warning; more severe cases may result in an immediate ban.


3)Your license to HR Think Tank

3.1 As between you and HR Think Tank, you own the content and information that you submit or post to the platform. When giving any content to HR Think Tank, you are granting only HR Think Tank and any explicitly named affiliates the following non-exclusive license: A worldwide, transferable and sub-licensable right to use, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and process, information and content that you provide without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to you or others.

Intellectual Property Rights 3.2 HR Think Tank reserves all of its intellectual property rights. Using our services, our online platform and access to any of our affiliated partnerships does not give you any ownership of our services or the content or information made available through our services. Trademarks and logos used in connection with HR Think Tank are the trademarks of their respective owners. All HR Think Tank logos, the “taking inspiration in the unknown” slogan and other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used for our platform and service, and affiliated partners are trademarks or registered trademarks of HR Think Tank.


4)Contract terms

4.1 By entering into a contract with HR Think Tank, you agree that these terms may change at any time without notice, however we will always try our best to notify you of these terms in writing and our website. HR Think Tank holds the final decision in any contractual matters.

Termination

4.2 Both you and HR Think Tank may terminate this Contract at any time with notice to the other. On termination, you lose the right to access or use the Services. The following shall survive termination:

Our rights to use and disclose your feedback;

Members and/or Visitors’ rights to further re-share content and information you shared through the Service to the extent copied or re-shared prior to termination;
